Learn about the uniforms, organization, and the command and control of a Civil War regiment., as well as the roles civilians played during The War Between the States.

Phil and Lauri Berg have been reenacting the Civil War for thirty years as members of the 33rd New Jersey Volunteer Infantry Regiment. Phil served as Captain and Commander of the 33rd Regiment for ten years and Lauri is the current secretary.

They were charter trustees and are current members of the New Jersey Civil War Heritage Association, and have held a long membership in the North Jersey Civil War Round Table. In addition, Phil is the Colonel and Commander of the Mifflin Guard Battalion.
